In this project, I was required to design & produce a 24pp typography plus a cover magazine/periodical. I had the choice of it being a weekly, monthly, or quarterly publication, and the theme of the publication was my own choice out of a set of 5 themes. 

There were 8 set tasks, which were to be completed according to set requirements. Within the tasks, I was to design and produce the magazine cover, for my cover, I chose to take my own photos, the front cover photo was shot from a bridge in Newcastle, overlooking one of Newcastle’s beaches, and the back cover was a close-up on one of the beaches. I was also required to design and produce a 26-character typeface, mainly for the purpose of the title of the magazine. 

Within the other set tasks, I was also required to create, a Table of Contents (all created on Styles in InDesign), layouts for Editorial & Feature pages, layouts for a minimum of 5 pages of Advertorials, layouts for a minimum of 5 pages of Display Advertising, a minimum of 3 pages of Classified Listings and a Special Supplement Section which was made up of 4 pages. All the pages were to include imagery, text, and any other necessary graphics.
